...Let me tell you, the SHURE SE110 are awesome. A friend who is an electrical engineer recommended them to me based on their frequency response.

They have a great sound and do an excellent job cutting out the ambient noises in whatever atmosphere you're in. I am a musician and can hear all sorts of stuff that people may not. I highly recommend them.

Sennheiser 300X Earbuds

Now for some good earbuds that are much cheaper than the above at around $29.

Sennheiser is a world leader in headphones and these are their first consumer in ear buds.

If you have ever had trouble with keeping earbuds in your ears these may be your answer. These come in 3 sizes and they do stay in. They are also comfortable to wear.

I bought these when the left earbud on my Sony MDR-EX51LP's stopped working. I was initially upset because I (thought I) liked the Sony's and planned on just getting another pair of them.

However, I saw a favorable review of these in PC Magazine and decided to give them a try.

I'm really glad I did! The sound is much richer and the bass is much deeper than with the Sony's and it is giving me a better appreciation of the music. Now, I don't miss an opportunity to pull out my ipod to fill the time. These also seem to be louder which allows me to listen to the ipod on a lower volume and get a little extra battery life out of it. On the plane, they also do a better job of supressing the sound of the engines. All around, I'm very pleased. They cost twice as much as my old Sony's, but in my opinion they are well worth it.
