Finding The Best MP3 Players
What is the Best Mp3 Player For Listening To Brainwave
Entrainment?
I think that the best mp3 player for listening to brainwave
entrainment sessions is going to be one that is good for listening to music.
So I did some research on the best MP3 players for music. I read expert reviews as well as user feedback. I
couldn't buy all of them myself but luckily online there are plenty of reviews.
What about iPod Classic or even sexier iPod nanao? They are cool little MP3 players but
expensive. There are cheaper ones that will serve the purpose well. iPods are the best known players
and we do hve Apple to thank for much of the technology that is in use in other mp3 players.
iPod do playlist and podcast integration better but if you are not interested in that but just want to listen to
music then think about a cheaper option than an iPod.
Here is my first choice. After lots of research and asking some of the experts I chose the SanDisk Sansa Fuze 8GB (model number SDMX14R-008GS-A57) as the best of
the best MP3 players. I have this MP3 player myself.

You probably do not need 120 GB or even 80 GB although these massive disks are now available. The SanDisk Sansa
Fuze has 8 GB which is plenty for most people's needs.
The SanDisk Fuze is a great MP3 player. The 8GB Fuze costs half the price of an iPod and has more features. Also
you can add a card that expands it to up to 36 GB. That is a lot of GB for the price. I have added a 4 GB card
to mine.
Plays videos, music, photos and audio books
Best MP3 of 2008
The Sansa Fuze Mp3 Player was one of the year's best reviewed, as noted in Amazon.com's Best MP3 Players and

This reviewer on Amazon.co.uk gave this player 5 stars.
Great mp3 player - much better than my daughters i-pod nano as it does not use i-tunes and has
expandable memory.
The scroll wheel has a lovely feel to it - much improved over the e200 series which we also have
and rate highly.
More options in the software than previous Sansa players such as Audiobook options, file delete
etc.
Very tactile and easy to use. There are two options in the volume set up on the settings menu -
select the louder one.
Sound quality is very good and in my opinion better than the i-pod. I would highly recommend
this player. Very small and compact.
...Very good value for money.

I will not repeat what the reviewer above has said but I agree with it.
I haven't been disapointed with the Sansa Fuze and am pleased that I chose it.
Here are a few more good points about it:
- The photos you put into it can be run as a slideshow with your choice of music.
- Audiobook feature saves your place in the book you are listening to.
- You can add videos and it comes with a file converter so that any kind of movie can be
added.
- Has a voice recorder
- Podcast enabled
- Has a sleep mode so you can set it to turn off after x minutes. Useful when using it in bed
with the Insomnia Beater session.
Now a couple of less good points:
- I found understanding how to add a playlist rather challenging. It isn't as easy as the
iPod in this. I got it right eventually though. iPod has the advantage of being integrated with
iTunes and that is lacking in other brands.
- It comes with a program called Rhapsody for transferring files and to create
playlists. I didn't like it much and I downloaded Happy Fish to collect podcasts.
This is a free program that is easy to use.
-
The earphones it comes with are poor quality. I got much better sound when I used my own
earphones.
-
When you have a player that is not an iPod you do not get the range of accessories that
are available for iPods. For example I could not find speakers or a car adaptor.

Other MP3 Players Worth Noting
I don't plan to confuse you with lots more of the best MP3 players but I
can't totally ignore the Apple iPod nano. It is the most popular MP3 player in the world after all.
The Nano is a great little player and it comes in a multitude of cool colors. Its so very attractive to see
and also to hold in your hand.
The iPod Nano has had good reviews for its wonderful sound quality, which is the most important thing after all.
Here are some more good things about this little mp3 player:
- Very easy to set up and use.
- Excellent battery life of 36+ hours.
- Relatively large screen with good video resolution.
- Can be used while recharging via USB.
- Excellent at ripping and encoding and transferring music to the player via iTunes.

I have an iPos nano as well as the Sansa Fuze. I have to say that the iPod is my choice of player.I love it for
its music quality, its looks and its integration with iTunes which makes synchronization a lot easier.
I have given my Sansa Fuze to my husband who has been very happy with it. He isn't into techy things like me! He
listens to music, audio books and podcasts with it.
Sansa Fuze is really good and is less expensive. It will certainly be fine for brainwave entrainment audios.
You can get the iPod Nano at Amazon.com for a discount. Amazon are theh best priced seller right now.
